Campanula trachelium (Bats-in-the-belfry, Bellflower)

Campanula trachelium, commonly known as Bats-in-the-belfry or Bellflower, is a herbaceous perennial native to Europe. It belongs to the Campanulaceae family and features showy, bell-shaped flowers in various shades of blue or purple. The plants have hairy, toothed leaves and grow in clumps, usually reaching a height of about 2-3 feet. Bats-in-the-belfry prefers full sun to partial shade and is known for attracting bees and butterflies to the garden.
