Calocedrus decurrens (Incense Cedar)
The Calocedrus decurrens, commonly known as the Incense Cedar, is a large evergreen tree native to western North America. It features a tall, straight trunk and dense, pyramid-shaped crown with drooping branches. The foliage consists of scale-like leaves that emit a pleasant fragrance when crushed or bruised. The bark is reddish-brown and exfoliates in long strips.
