Butiagrus nabonnandii (Mule Palm)
The Butiagrus nabonnandii, also known as Mule Palm, is a hybrid palm tree resulting from a cross between the Pindo Palm (Butia capitata) and the Queen Palm (Syagrus romanzoffiana). This unique palm exhibits characteristics of both parent plants, featuring a feather-like foliage of the Queen Palm and the hardiness and cold tolerance of the Pindo Palm. With its striking appearance and ability to withstand colder temperatures, the Mule Palm is an excellent addition to any tropical or subtropical landscape.
