Atriplex canescens 'Nevadaensis' (Four-wing Saltbrush)

Atriplex canescens, commonly known as Four-wing Saltbrush, is a shrub that is native to North America. The 'Nevadaensis' cultivar is selected for its attractive grey-green foliage and slightly weeping habit. It is a drought-tolerant plant that thrives in dry, sandy soils. The leaves are small and covered in fine silvery hairs, giving the plant a fuzzy appearance. In late summer, inconspicuous flowers are followed by four-winged seeds.
