Astrantia major 'Magnum Blush' (Masterwort)

Astrantia major 'Magnum Blush', commonly known as Masterwort, is a flowering perennial native to Europe. It produces beautiful clusters of blush-pink flowers that resemble pincushions, surrounded by a collar of papery bracts, from late spring to early summer. The plant has attractive, deeply lobed, dark green foliage that provides an excellent backdrop for the flowers. Masterwort is a clump-forming plant that reaches a height of 18-24 inches and spreads to about 12-18 inches.
