Asimina obovata, commonly known as Pawpaw, is a species of small deciduous tree. It belongs to the Annonaceae family and is native to the southeastern United States. The tree grows up to 30 feet in height and has oblong leaves that turn yellow in the fall. It produces small, bell-shaped flowers that are around 6 inches in size.
