Arisaema ringens (Jack in the Pulpit)
Arisaema ringens, commonly known as Jack in the Pulpit, is a unique and distinctive wildflower. It features a tall, hooded spathe that resembles a preacher in a pulpit and surrounds a finger-like spadix. The spathe can range in color from green to purple and occasionally striped. Its leaves are divided into three parts, and the plant produces small, round berries in the late summer. Jack in the Pulpit is mainly found in moist woodlands and shady areas.
