Anemone cylindrica (Candle Anemone, Thimbleweed)

Anemone cylindrica, commonly known as Candle Anemone or Thimbleweed, is a herbaceous perennial plant native to North America. It grows in moist meadows, wooded areas, and along the edges of streams and ponds. The plant features cylindrical flower heads on long stalks, with each flower having numerous white, petal-like sepals and a yellow center. Candle Anemone blooms in summer and attracts butterflies and other pollinators.
