Andropogon glomeratus, commonly known as Bushy Bluestem or Broomsedge grass, is a warm-season perennial grass that grows in dense clumps. It features upright, arching foliage that ranges in color from green to reddish-brown. In late summer to early fall, Bushy Bluestem produces attractive seed heads that resemble brooms, giving rise to its common name. The plant is native to North America and is often found in disturbed areas and along roadsides.
