The Ancistrocactus uncinatus, commonly known as Don King or Catclaw Cactus, is a small cactus species native to the desert regions of southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It has distinctive hooked spines that resemble a cat's claws. This cactus typically forms solitary or clumping clusters and produces beautiful pink or purple flowers in spring. It requires well-draining soil and partial to full sun exposure.
