Ananas comosus (Pineapple)

Ananas comosus, commonly known as pineapple, is a tropical fruiting plant native to South America. It belongs to the Bromeliaceae family and is grown for its delicious and juicy edible fruit. Pineapple plants have long and sword-like leaves with a spiral arrangement, and produce a beautiful inflorescence with pink or purple flowers.
