Amelanchier alnifolia 'Smokey', commonly known as Saskatoon Serviceberry, is a deciduous shrub native to North America. It features beautiful white flowers in the spring, followed by delicious dark purple berries that are sweet and often used in baking. The foliage is a vibrant green during the summer, turning shades of orange and red in the fall. It grows to a height of 6 to 10 feet and has a spread of 4 to 8 feet.
