Aloe dichotoma (Kokerbom Cactus)
Aloe dichotoma, commonly known as Kokerbom Cactus or Quiver Tree, is a unique and iconic succulent native to the arid regions of southern Africa. It is a tall, tree-like plant with a single trunk that branches out near the top, resembling a tree rather than a typical cactus. The trunk is covered in smooth, greyish bark, and the plant produces rosettes of thick, fleshy leaves at the branch tips. The leaves are blue-green in color and have sharp, spiky edges. The Kokerbom Cactus is drought-tolerant and can withstand extreme heat and dry conditions.
