Allagoptera campestris (Savanna Stemless Dwarf Palm)

The Allagoptera campestris, commonly known as the Savanna Stemless Dwarf Palm, is a small palm tree that is native to the grasslands of Brazil. It has a compact growth habit with stems that reach a maximum height of 3 feet. The plant has feathery, pinnate leaves that are green in color and can measure up to 3-4 feet long. It produces small, yellow flowers that eventually turn into small black fruits.
