Alcea rosea 'Chaters' Chamois, commonly known as Hollyhocks, is a biennial or short-lived perennial that grows in tall spires. This cultivar, 'Chaters' Chamois, features large, fully double flowers in soft shades of chamois, peach, and cream. The flowers bloom from late spring to early summer and attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Hollyhocks prefer full sun and well-draining soil, and they can reach a height of 5-8 feet (1.5-2.4 meters) with a spread of 2-3 feet (0.6-0.9 meters).
