Ajuga pyramidalis 'Metallica Crispa', commonly known as Carpetbugle, is a perennial plant that forms low-growing mats of bronze-purple leaves. The leaves have a crinkled or scalloped appearance, giving the plant an interesting texture. In spring, it produces spikes of blue flowers that attract pollinators. This plant is ideal for groundcover in shady areas and is known for its ability to rapidly fill in unused spaces. It reaches a height of 4 inches and can spread up to 12 inches wide.
