Ajuga genevensis (Less Spreading Geneva Carpetbugle)
Ajuga genevensis, also known as Less Spreading Geneva Carpetbugle, is a low-growing perennial plant that forms a dense carpet of foliage. It features glossy, deep green leaves and produces spikes of small, purple-blue flowers in the spring. This groundcover plant can tolerate a wide range of soil conditions and is excellent for filling in spaces between stepping stones or as a border plant. It is a great option for areas where you want to control spreading as it has a less aggressive growth habit compared to other Ajuga species.
