Agropyron cristatum (Crested Wheatgrass)

Crested Wheatgrass (Agropyron cristatum) is a perennial grass native to Europe and Asia. It is commonly used for erosion control and as forage for livestock. The grass forms dense tufts, with upright stems and narrow green leaves. In the summer, it produces slender spikes of flowers that turn into seed heads.
