Agave palmeri (Palmer Agave)
Agave palmeri, commonly known as Palmer Agave, is a large succulent plant native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It has thick, fleshy leaves that form a rosette shape. The leaves are gray-green in color with sharp spines along the edges. In the center of the rosette, a tall flower stalk emerges, bearing clusters of yellow flowers. Palmer Agave is well-suited for xeriscaping due to its ability to tolerate drought and poor soil conditions.
