Agave chrysantha (Golden Flowered Agave)

Agave chrysantha, commonly known as Golden Flowered Agave, is a succulent plant native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It is characterized by its rosette of thick, fleshy, gray-green leaves that have sharp, spine-like edges. As the plant matures, it produces a tall flower stalk that can reach up to 10 feet in height. Golden Flowered Agave gets its name from its striking golden-yellow flowers that bloom at the end of its life cycle.
