Aesculus californica (California Buckeye)

The Aesculus californica, commonly known as the California Buckeye, is a multi-stemmed plant native to California. It is an attractive deciduous tree with striking dark green foliage and showy clusters of white flowers in the spring. However, caution should be exercised as all parts of the California Buckeye are highly toxic. It typically reaches a height of about 20 feet and can spread up to 15 feet wide.
