Adenostoma fasciculatum, commonly known as Chamise or Greasewood, is a dense, evergreen shrub native to California, USA. It grows in a sprawling fashion, reaching heights of up to 10 feet. The branches are covered with small, narrow leaves that give off a strong, resinous aroma when crushed. Chamise produces clusters of tiny, white flowers in the spring and summer, attracting bees and butterflies. It is often found in chaparral and coastal sage scrub habitats.
