Acer glabrum (Rocky Mountain Maple)
Acer glabrum, commonly known as Rocky Mountain Maple, is a deciduous shrub or small tree native to the mountainous regions of western North America. It features green, glossy leaves that turn vibrant shades of yellow, orange, and red in the autumn. The plant produces small, inconspicuous yellow-green flowers in the spring, followed by winged samaras. It is an excellent choice for adding fall color to landscapes and can be grown as a specimen plant or used for erosion control.
