Acanthopanex sieboldianus, commonly known as Angelica Fiveleaf Aralia, is a deciduous shrub native to East Asia. It features large, dark green, palmate leaves that consist of 5 to 7 leaflets. In late summer, it produces clusters of small creamy-white flowers that are attractive to pollinators. The plant is known for its arching stems and graceful, vase-shaped growth habit. It can grow up to 8 feet tall and spreads out to about 6 feet wide.
