Acacia schaffneri (Twisted Acacia)

Acacia schaffneri, commonly known as Twisted Acacia, is a medium-sized evergreen tree native to Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico. It is characterized by its unique twisted and contorted branches and thorny stems. The tree produces small, yellow flowers in dense clusters during spring, followed by long, twisted seed pods. It can reach a height of up to 30 feet and a width of 20 feet.
