Acacia greggii (Cat's Claw Acacia)

Acacia greggii, commonly known as Cat's Claw Acacia, is a thorny shrub native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It is named for its distinctive curved thorns that resemble the claws of a cat. The plant has feathery bipinnate leaves and small yellow flowers that bloom in clusters.
