Acacia greggii, commonly known as Cat's Claw Acacia, is a thorny shrub native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It is named for its distinctive curved thorns that resemble the claws of a cat. The plant has feathery bipinnate leaves and small yellow flowers that bloom in clusters. Cat's Claw Acacia is highly drought-tolerant and well-suited for xeriscaping in arid landscapes.
