Acacia constricta (Whitethorn Acacia / Mescat Acacia)

Acacia constricta, commonly known as Whitethorn or Mescat Acacia, is a small evergreen shrub native to southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It features spiny stems and grayish-green leaves that are divided into small leaflets. In spring, it produces clusters of small yellow flowers followed by seed pods. This drought-tolerant plant is often found in arid desert regions and can form dense, thorny thickets.
