The Abies squamata, commonly known as Flaky Bark Fir, is a coniferous tree native to the high mountains of Eastern Tibet. The tree is characterized by its unique flaky bark that peels off in thin strips. It has dark-green, needle-like leaves that are arranged spirally on the branches. The Flaky Bark Fir can reach a height of up to 60 feet, with a spread of about 20 feet.
